Throughout God's Word, setting aside a portion of the resources God provides is encouraged as the right response for a Christ follower. (Proverbs 3:9-10; Malachi 3:10; Matt. 6:1-4; Mark 12:41-44; 2 Cor. 9:7)
It is our prayer that as you faithfully practice generosity as part of the local church and give, God will deepen your dependence on Him, your trust in His provision, and meet your needs "…according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)
