Due to the increase in the Covid positivity rate, the Covid Task Force and Church Council have recommended postponing the Annual Church Picnic, scheduled for this Sunday, October 3 at Doub Woods until April. The safety of our members and friends is of upmost importance.

Chancel Choir and Chorister Choir FINALLY, after a way-too-long hiatus - thanks to COVID! - we're going to try to resume choir rehearsals. Mostly due to health or scheduling issues, our choirs have become rather small, so we could really use some more singers. So please consider joining us, or at least come and try it out. All are welcome! Contact Kathy at 301-733- 4090. Here's the plan: CHANCEL CHOIR (Adults) will begin rehearsals on Thursday, Sept. 2 from 4:00-5:00 in the Sanctuary every week

The quilters are meeting again every Tuesday from 9:15-11:30. The quilts are for the Lutheran World Relief Mission and are given to babies, locally to CASA , and to those who need them all over the world. “We have a lot of fun making quilts.” If you would like to try it out, no sewing abilities are needed to have fun and “help blanket the world with love.” For more information, call Sandy at 301-302- 7419. All supplies provided. Face masks required.
